Gratitude sometimes comes in waves

I’m just finished teaching for the night. Wow!! It is just such an incredible high. I’m so enjoying the company of my class. They’re remarkable people who come to the class with such an honest and intelligent approach to yoga.

I am so grateful for them, I could almost cry. They present me with such clarity and honesty. Their feedback lets me know when I’m hitting the blocks on the right notes and when I need to adjust.

Sooooooooo, bless you one and all. You’re the best class EVER!!

Namaste and thanks for reading,

About Kate MacKay

I'm a certified Viniyoga teacher, in Fredericton, NB. I was a 9-1-1 operator and emergency services dispatcher for 22 years. Surprisingly, the two worked well together, or as I liked to put it, from the sublime to the ridiculous -- all in a day's work. I'm currently off work as a result of a stress-induced cardiac condition that's thrown a few crimps in my lifestyle. I'm not actively teaching yoga in the classroom right now and probably won't for several more months. That said, this blog is one of the forms of practice I can do and I thank you for joining me in this exploration of all things yoga.

  1. Dear Kate,

Recently I re-did my blog. (Mahita Devi) It was Mantra Mama. It is now Witch Way to the Cafe? I also have a new name. Brighid Rowan. I have been so busy with writing and life that my blog kind of went south. However, I am going to keep adding to it. I always loved your insights. It looks like things are going well for you. Stop by if you have the time.

    Blessings on your path,
    Brighid Rowan/Mahita devi
